1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the iOS application "Esugoi" ("the App") provided by UNVELL Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

The App is a service that transforms user's hand-drawn sketches into colorful illustrations using AI technology. Converted illustrations are placed on a canvas with animations, and the transformation process can be shared as a video.

2.1 Use of Third-Party AI Services

The App's image conversion feature is powered by APIs provided by third-party AI service providers ("AI Providers"), including OpenAI, L.L.C. By tapping the convert button, you consent to your input image (sketch) being transmitted to and processed by the AI Provider's servers. We may change or add AI Providers without prior notice. 3. Ticket System

  • "Tickets" are required to convert sketches. Each conversion consumes 1 ticket.
  • New users receive 5 free tickets upon first use.
  • Additional tickets can be purchased as consumable in-app purchases.
  • Tickets are consumable and non-refundable after purchase.
  • Ticket balances are managed on our server, linked to your device ID.
  • We may occasionally offer free tickets as part of promotional campaigns. Such promotions are entirely at our discretion and are not a guaranteed feature of the App.

3.7 Share Reward

  • After a successful conversion, you may earn a free ticket by sharing the result to SNS or other apps from the share screen.
  • Eligibility conditions, the number of tickets granted, target users, and per-user limits may be changed or suspended at our discretion for abuse prevention or operational reasons.
  • Tickets may not be granted when the share is not completed, when a network error occurs, or when abuse is suspected.
  • The share reward program may be terminated without prior notice and we do not guarantee that tickets will be earned.

4. Ticket Consumption and Conversion

  • The conversion process begins the moment you tap the convert button, and one ticket is consumed at that point.
  • If, for any reason — including network errors, device power loss, or any other cause — you do not receive the conversion result, the consumed ticket will, as a general rule, not be refunded. Please understand this in advance.
  • The App requires a network connection in order to perform AI-based image generation. Please use the App in a stable network environment. Tickets are still consumed even when a conversion fails due to an unstable connection.
  • We are unable to issue refunds for tickets consumed under any of the circumstances described above.
  • When you purchase tickets, the purchase is registered on our server. If your device is offline at the time of purchase, the purchase information is temporarily stored on the device and automatically registered to our server once the network is restored. If a problem cannot be resolved automatically, please contact our support team.

5. In-App Purchases

In-app purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Apple's standard EULA (End User License Agreement) and App Store Terms of Service apply to all purchases.

6. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Use the App to generate inappropriate, illegal, or harmful content
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
  • Obtain or manipulate tickets through unauthorized means
  • Place excessive load on the service infrastructure
  • Infringe on the rights of other users or third parties

7. Content Filtering

The App implements keyword filtering to discourage the generation of inappropriate content. However, due to technical limitations, filtering cannot guarantee the complete prevention of all inappropriate content.

8. Intellectual Property

  • Intellectual property rights in the App and its content belong to us.
  • Rights to sketches you create belong to you.
  • AI-generated illustrations may be freely used for personal, non-commercial purposes. For commercial use, please contact us.

9. Disclaimer

  • We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or appropriateness of AI-generated results.
  • We are not liable for damages caused by service interruptions or failures.
  • We are not responsible for issues arising from content created or shared by users.

10. Service Changes and Termination

We may change or terminate the service without prior notice. Unused tickets are non-refundable upon service termination.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
